Noam Chomsky wrote the foreword to a book by this Faurisson. Being the renowned "linguist" that he is, Chomsky later denied ever having read the book, when questioned about his association with a holocaust denier.

Faurisson was found guilty of "complicity in contesting the existence of a crime against humanity".

The thought police should have considered his mental state before passing judgement me thinks. Or their own for that matter.
