The decision for the USS Ronald Reagan, CVN-76, was made while he was still alive...that was no mistake.

Naming ships after living people is something I'd expect out of North Korea or a banana-republic. President Reagan was a great American, but they should have waited until after he died to make that decision. Then he could have the next class of carriers named after him.

GB 41 could join the exclusive club that I think only Arleigh Burke belongs to....to be present at the christening, commissioning, and to ride the ship carrying his name.
