Excellent news. Jeff, how is the next carrier class(I think the CVX?) going to be differant than the nimitz class?

It will be a carrier that can submerge like a sub.

In my Dragon's Fury Series - World War Against America and the West I have the US develop precisley what you propose...and then use them to very good and telling effect with a description of the enemy's faces when they see them rise from the depths and start launching F-35s.

CVX is pencilled in to have no bridge (dont need it and didnt even need it for Nimitz class) electric drive, rail gun catapults, stealth, etc.
