That sucks. I hate hearing stories like this.

I pray for the day when our troops can finish the job and leave that country - for good.

Democrats want President Bush, our troops and the United States to fail in the war on terror, so Democrats are no doubt encouraged by this news.

Who are the enemy?

They are ruthless, anti-American, evil, despicable vermin who conspire to kill you, your family and your friends right where you sleep.

They are media propaganda experts, and delight in our sputtering respectful rebuttals, while they spew serial outrageous hypocritical accusations.

They delight in our unilateral adherence to Marquess of Queensbury rules of engagement, while they plot to slit our throats.

They are the enemy.

They are Democrats.

I wish someone would build a database on how our troops have died since the beginning, so that we could get a feel for what they need.

If it is snipers, then maybe our troops need better protective uniforms or armored carriers.

If it is IEDs, then maybe the Iraqis soldiers need to do the patrols.

having already lost two friends in iraq, it really pisses me off though that the people that want the war to last in iraq are hypocrites who wouldn't dare send their own kids into the military. Same with the politicians. I realize its an all volunteer army, but I get a little pissed off when I hang out with civilians who are arm chair generals and say how the war should be fought, and how we need to stay there but refuse to let their kids go into the military and instead buy them cadillacs and send them to a university.

It is highly likely that the insurgents in Iraq, knowing American Politics quite well, will be looking to increase the body count of American soldiers as the elections approach.

No one wants the war in Iraq to last.

There are people who want America to win the war as soon as possible and those who want America to surrender as soon as possible, but I've never heard of anyone who wanted to extend the length of the deployment.

well I have switched my voter regristration from republican to independent - voting liberterian or american constitution party from now on. I'm fed up with 90% of the republicans and 95% of the democrats.

How did you know about plan B? It is supposed to be implemented after the GOP loses congress. Give residents 24 hours, set up check points as people file out.

In other words, you will be casting your vote to intentionally stab our troops serving overseas in the back.

A very stupid decision.

"...people that want the war to last in iraq are hypocrites who wouldn't dare send their own kids into the military."

I don't see that amongst people I know. Those in favor of winning this war encourage their children to get involved, to join the military, and contribute. The people I know are intensely proud of the military and in some cases see the military as our last great example of what America is.

having already lost two friends in iraq,

My condolences. I have several friends and coworkers who are either their, or have returned, one of them disabled for life.

it really pisses me off though that the people that want the war to last in iraq

Who wants the war to last? As far as I know, everyone wants the "war" over as soon as possible.

are hypocrites who wouldn't dare send their own kids into the military

I am not sure that I agree with this line of reasoning. In fact, I'd shred it right here, but I don't want to come across nasty.

Does anyone have more information on this? My step-son is in the 101 FA at Camp Victory. Is this the affected area?

Sad but you are right.
Take a survey of the American people and you would find half of them couldn't find Iraq on the map.
As for knowing American politics the insurgents, or murders, know much more on this issue than most Americans. They watch our every political movement and adjust their war scheming to fit.
The Democrats are destroying America, I just wish people would wake up before it's too late.
