Hey Washington Times have you forgotten that the Democrat Party is the ones who support the dissemination of pornography to teenagers.

Hastert should not resign. It is sickening to try to pass Foley's guilt to anyone but him.Hastert did what any reasonable person would do and that is warn the person such conduct is not acceptable.I guess Foley did not listen.

If he was adding value to the conservative cause people would rally to his defense....thats why this could be a big problem for him. Politics just chews up and spits out good people. Term limits our first decry is the only answer.

You live in Louisiana and you're critizing others?

Guess you all think it's the gummint's job to live your life for you. Take you by the hand when the storms roll in, and make sure your feet don't get wet.

Guess like your hero, Nagin, you consider the WTC site nothing more than a hole in the ground.

Thats what "This NEW TONE IN WASHINGTON" Gets you.

Better to Go For The Democrats Juglar Vein instead of this nice get along tone.

Just leave Hastert alone. He's not the one in trouble here, nor is he a mind reader. Geez. Can't we get our act together, conservatives, and keep our fights until AFTER the election.

This is an "expected to happen," not a done deal. I despise the Dems.

You know, of course, the FR name for Mark Levin?

The Honorable Dennis Hastert has a long list of accomplishments. As far as I know, he has been above reproach.

"As Speaker of the House, Hastert has made history as Speaker. He is the first Republican Speaker in more than a century and one of only two Republicans to preside over consecutive electoral seat gains in the U.S House of Representatives. He is also one of two Republicans to be reelected Speaker for four consecutive terms."

Yes, he has earned the benefit of the doubt and that he is telling us the truth.

Then will come Civil War II and we will tear this country dowsn to its foundation and start all over again.

Great post.

I for one will do whatever I can to defend Hastert, even though I haven't been his biggest fan. He's getting a bum rap in this case, I think.

This isn't a Trent Lott situation. This was not Hastert's doing, and we're a month out from a critical election.

Wonder if Foley's comuter was hacked.
Wasn't there something on Drudge about computer hacking not too long ago? Not talking about the judgtes - this was about a month or so ago.

Save Congressman Jefferson!!!! Its a bitch when you need your base and they dont respond.

So then, the time to call for Hastert's resignation would have then (and not now), right?

AlQaida had two major groups stationed in the Northern Virginia suburbs. One bunch undertook to hijack planes leaving Dulles airport. Another bunch did various other jobs.

They had to have housing somewhere ~ just so happens it was down the street. This is the same neighborhood Kansi, the CIA shooter, hung around all the time.

If Hastert knew about this, and covered it, he needs to resign.
