I am very surprised by Michael Reagan's comments, IF THEY ARE TRUE and in context. Is 'Human Events' reliable, or just another dinosaur wandering off to the tar pits?

While I won't associate myself with some of the remarks on this thread, I will say this: Never having been a huge Hastert fan, to say the least, in this case it appears that he is getting a bum rap. Big time.

I like Reagan and Bossie, but they're jumping the gun REAL bad.

There is only one possible winner of any if this, and that is Nancy Pelosi. And the country will be the loser if Republicans don't get a handle on this real fast.

I watched Reagan on FOX and he clearly stated, after being told that Hastert only knew of Foley's writing emails to the page, who had finished the program.

Reagan stated that if it was a "known fact" all around D.C. that Foley was gay and that he, (Hastert) was told of the emailing teenage pages, former or not, he should have been asked to resign. Reagan stated that the only reason a gay man (Foley) would have been persuing teenage boys was for sex, regardless of the nature of the emails.

(Remember, we have laws protecting homosexuals against "gay bashing.")
