Lets talk Party and principle.

Dems have a man in the White House with credible accusations of rape and sexual harassment leveled against him among other accusations. He is defended.

Republicans have a fruity guy, Foley, that they are wary of. No law against being "Fruity". But they get concrete information he is hounding teenage boys, and he is GONE.

We cant say that about Barny Franks, can we? STILL TICKING...

So what party stands on principle? Tell me, please.

You know, I'm sure you believe all of that too.

But if you think that his colleagues were completely clueless, I feel sorry for your naivete.

I think they knew and did nothing because they couldn't risk the scandal. Just wait and I'll be proven correct. If not I'll be happy to eat crow but I've never had to yet and I've been at this game a helluva long time.
