That would be John Jenrette(ABSCAM) and Rita. He was a rep from my hometown Florence/Myrtle Beach, SC. Total scumbag.
Rita Jenrette. Her husband John was one of the Abscam guys. I remember enough of what she looked like to say I can't entirely blame him...for the other thing, not the bribery.
(Wikipedia says the Capitol Steps comedy ensemble took their name from that incident. Can anybody confirm? The Steps website doesn't say.)
