No, I don't swim in sweat pants, but I would if I decided to. And your reason to pass a rule to stop me would be?

Swim teams DO practice sometimes with sneakers on, or sweat pants on, etc., to increase weight and drag.

Public recreation pools REQUIRE legitimate swim apparel for the safety and decorum of the pool, AND the safety of the life guards. You will NOT be allowed to swim in 'sweats' in a recreational pool due to the hazard you present to yourself and any potential rescue personnel.

Pools can prevent you from wearing fins and arm floaties. They can prevent you from wearing sweats. Period.
