The important matter requiring investigation is how a recently-created anonymous blogger got the email correspondence which the boy’s parents had insisted be kept quiet. And how the blog site, which had virtually no posts and no traffic suddenly caught the attention of Foley’s opponent who immediately asked for an investigation.

Is it believable that Soros’ C.R.E.W. did not share the email correspondence it had with ABC, and time the release of them and the announcement that they had forwarded them to the FBI for investigation, to coincide with the ABC story? The IM’s carried the far more salacious content, and their provenance is still murky. When and how did C.R.E.W. come into possession of the IM’s, and when did they contact the FBI?

Its called political opportunisim. Dems/media will rue the day they pulled this stunt.

Pelosi is throwing stones again. Nothing is as sorry to watch as the desperation of democrats seeking power. Nothing is too low, nothing is sacred.

I was at a function the other day and saw a woman I handt seen in twenty years. I said hello to her and she turned her back and went the other way. Now this woman has a very shaded past , has been a tramp, , but now she is too good to say hello.

It reminds me a lot of Democrats who think Republicans have forgotten their own episodes of having trash in the Congress. they make hay off others having problems while forgetting their own.

They should have forced out Barney Frank, when he was running his basement whorehoue, but they didnt , now they want top make a big stink out of Foley.

Pelosi needs to STFU .

This is disgusting, Foley's behaviour was awful, maybe criminal. However, the Demonrats are so bad they make him look almost noble.

Is it believable that Brian Ross, who has written so many stories that didn’t hold up—including his insistent claim that Speaker Hastert was under DoJ investigation in the face of vehement denials from both Hastert and the DoJ—would write a fair account of the incident?

When RATher was outed for the forged, Bush memo's... the DBM decided that rather than learning from the shills transgressions... they would try to emulate him.

Lefties will attempt to label this as a pedophile incident while it's most likely a homosexual incident. There's no way they'll hang a "gay" tag on someone under fire...not a chance! Betcha Mel Reynolds was never packaged as a pedophile.

Where were the stones when mr. clinton raped an intern? I cannot understand why the republicans won't bring that to the attention of those insinuating that all republicans are guilty of something. I just don't get it.

Republicans should hold themselves to a higher standard then democrats not because they will be scrutinized more by the press but because it is the right thing to do. This is Foley's screw-up and now it is going to cost the GOP in the coming elections. For House leadership to say that all they saw was “overly friendly emails. No smoking gun, but cause for concern" is a joke.

Maybe because we shouldn't hold our leaders to the same low standards of Democrats.

I think what needs to be done is a little graphics work on who got in trouble and where they are now series of charts. It could be quite eye opening for the average voter.

Foley must have thought he was a Democrat -- that's why he thought it would be OK for him to be trolling among the Pages for new boy-toys. I agree that Republicans must hold themselves to a much higher standard than the Demagogues, who have no standards at all except when politically convenient.
