They have a state law regulating charities and want to regulate us. We are not a charity and have no physical presence in Virginia and feel the law does not apply to us. They say it does.So then, if you are not a charitable organization, are you a "for profit?" I have no problem whether you are a profit or otherwise, because people are free to give and receive. Just confused about the status of FR.
We are an LLC organized and paying taxes to the feds and the State of California. We are not a registered non-profit.
