I want to thank all of you for your kind interest in my condition and especially thank those that have offered prayers in my behalf. You will never know how much it means to me.

Today I got my two month checkup. The MRI of my brain taken last Wednesday was fine. It showed signs of the operation but there was no sign of the cancer returning. I am still cancer free. The blood tests also taken last Wednesday were fine. There is no sign of cancer. According to the doctor my recovery is going better than expected. He seemed quite pleased with my condition. I am scheduled for another brain MRI and a chest X-Ray in February.

One point that was quite interesting to me. While waiting to see the doctor I picked up a book on cancer treatment. It said that several studies have shown that those who pray for recovery and have others praying for their recovery do much better than those that do not. The other point it said was that those that believe in God do better than those that do not. It said that those that both believe and have others praying for them do the best of all.

The article was very careful not to state there is a God. I guess they could not do that in this PC world. The article just said that those that believe do better than those who do not. And believers that have the most prayers offered in their behalf do the best of all.

Great to see you back, Tator!

The article was very careful not to state there is a God.

Yeah, I love that. It's perfectly possible logically that belief and prayer do not require an object in order to be effective but I wouldn't be placing any large bets in that direction.

Very good news Common Tator; my prayers will continue. :0)

BTW, I have had 6 major surgeries for Crohn;s disease and I am still on this side of the grass. I can assure you there is a loving, healing God. He will keep us both in His care.

As usual, political correctness kills.

May God use you as a testament to His power and glory! :o)

I'm so happy for you and your wonderful news!!

It would be nice if you would research Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski in Houston. His specialty is brain tumors.
