I will stoop here to being a low bum by saying:

N. Gabler is a little, anxious, overly-irritated, twit.

But I like him anyhow.

;-)

At least he has some energy.

Interesting. I've also come around on Gabler. He's always liberal, at times unfair. But he certainly does bring energy to the panel. And I have it on good authority that he is respected by at least one of the panel's conservatives.

Spurned host Eric Burns' entreaty to add someone from another network to his list of partisan TV personalities.

EXACTLY!

Gablers unmanly and unkempt beard (a la Robert Reicssssh et al) is standard attire for his type.....one notable exception is Colmes' 2 1/2 oz of putty applied before the paint. Gabler is the pseudo-male/pseudo-friendly version of Eleanor Clift.

If these people ever get control of both houses of congress and the WH, they will begin wearing brown wool attire with small red decorations. God how I hate them!

He's a real smart guy and wrote a very great book years ago:

An Empire of Their Own: How the Jews Invented Hollywood

I like the guy, I think he would be fun to be with. But he's way out on the looney left. I really often wonder how quite intelligent people like him can turn out to be so wrong on things.

I guess it's like the guy who has his first wonderful sexual experience with a beautiful and compliant redhead, then for the rest of his life he has a soft spot in his heart for redheads.

Gabler may have grown up with a loving and good lib. Who knows?

;-) ;-)

Neil is a pompous, liberal twit. But the guy they had on Fox News Watch before him was a true Kool-Aid drinker and way worse than Gabler could even try to be. I can't remember his name, but he worked for FAIR.

I tend to view Gabler in this role as a useful idiot, much like Alan Colmes does on H & C.

A tweed jacket and a 50's era Brittish sports car is in order for him....

The MSM is uncapable of making a judgement on what is non-biased, just as they are incapable of making a judgement on a number of other things, including what should be news or not.

Gabler took that to extremes back in December, when he said: "let's talk about the elephant in the room: Fox News. O'Reilly, Hannity and Gibson are demagogues.

The simple and obvious response to Gabler's "O'Reilly, Hannity and Gibson" comment is "Colmes, Gabler, Smith."

It goes well beyond that. A NewsBusters reader just emailed me this list of what he considers liberals at Fox News. I wouldn't agree as to every member of the list, but overall he makes a good case. Surely many more liberals at FNC than conservatives at the other MSM networks combined.

Rupert Murdoch ( Chairman of News Corp.)
Peter Chernin ( President of News Corp.)
Bob Beckel
Wesley Clark
Eleanor Clift
Alan Colmes
Ceci Connelly
David Corn
Nina Easton
Susan Estrich
Geraldine Ferraro
Neal Gabler
Kimberly Guilfoyle ( Mayor Gavin Newson's ex-wife )
Ellis Henican
Marvin Kalb
Mara Liasson
Andrew Napolitano
Bill O'Reilly ??
Kirsten Powers
Ellen Ratner
Geraldo Rivera
Shepard Smith
Greta Van Susteren
Chris Wallace
Juan Williams

I used to be a regular viewer, but stopped watching Fox News Watch several months ago. I simply couldn't stand watching that "nut case midget" (Neal Gabler) any more.

Bill O' Reilly a liberal? You need a dose of reality. The only things O'Reilly can be accused of taking a liberal stand on are capital punishment and he bashes oil companies for "price gouging."

He is leading the battle against MSM as well as the ACLU and other far-left organizations. He is strong against crime (particularly pedophiles), higher taxes, border security and other conservative issues. He also has the courage to bash far-left donor Peter Lewis even though Lewis' company (Progressive Insurance) is an advertiser. O'Reilly can be a pompous bore, but he's no liberal.

Is it too much to ask people to read before they begin bashing their fellow FReepers? Please go back to my post. You'll note I say the list is not mine, that it comes from a reader of my NewsBusters column, and what's more that "I wouldn't agree as to every member of the list."
