#554, The Rats better be careful of what they wish for. It is not a secret to Mark Foley's constituents his sexual preference,and we accepted him at face value,trusting that he was not a pedophile. He was a good congressman who represented both Metropolitan and Rural areas of several Counties. He was very excellent at campaigning,animated,funny,perceptive,enthusiastic and has a great Family and great campaign staff. I believed that he truly cared about his district.and the Republican Party,past tense. He betrayed those of us that live in the 16th CD in Florida,and himself,and his Family. Many,many Democrats,Republicans knew his proclivities,but not his sickness. I am sure that there are more Predator Congressman,and I am sure that most of them are Rats. They do not want to open up this can of worms,there are too many more Rats that will get nailed especially if Mark Foley has inside info about Predator Rats. There could be many revelations coming up that Rats will wish had stayed secret. We have already moved on,and are ready to Elect Joe Negron to replace Mark. I pray for Mark's soul and the healing of his Family. Friday was a bad day for most of us here in the District,it was a punch in the solar plexus,and felt as bad as losing a cherished friend. We are ready now to fight the good fight to keep the seat.

I'm sorry that happened to you and your district samantha. It just seems that when men get in the position of power, heterosexuals tend to go after the young and tender females, the gays go after young and tender males.

They are both wrong, the latter is just more disgusting. Good luck replacing him with another Republican. The talking heads have already conceded that seat to the Dems, and I would love to see them refuted.

Whenever I saw him on TV, that was always the impression I got about him - I rather liked him. He really stood up for kids (and now this arggggh).

God speed to all of you - I think it would be great if Joe got elected, and, even greater because all if this will have backfired in the Dims faces. I'll keep an eye out to see if anything comes out about the Predator Rats, and, if it does how the Dims handle it!
