Sen. John Kerry, the former presidential candidate who has campaigned for Angelides in California, also sent a plea on the candidate's behalf.

"I know what it's like to take on the Republican attack machine," Kerry said in an e-mail to would-be donors. "And I know it takes courage, as well as resources to fight back. That's why I am asking you to support Democrat Phil Angelides for governor - before the critical September 30 filing deadline. ... Help us raise $75,000 by Saturday."

Even Kerry knows its over. $75,000 and the French Poodle can't lend some of Teresa's millions to help out a struggling fellow Democrat? Kerry has been accused of a lot of things but even a liberal is not going to throw away his personal fortune on a losing proposition.
