Notice what? That Arnold is a DIRC? That's evident even to a child. Given the tilt of this state, under either man, we're going to see scant prospect of a conservative resurgence for the forseeable future. But under Arnold, its going to be more complicated since it will be difficult for the CAGOP to dissent as easily from the liberal bipartisan consensus as they would if there was a Democrat in office. This may be a victory Arnold's cheerleaders such as yourself will come to regret.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus
All that Arnold's governorship has done is slow the swirl in the toilet. California is headed in the same direction under Arnold as it would be under Davis, Bustamante, or Angelides - - just slower. The point is, California's situation is not
improving.
California is like the hopeless, urine-soaked alcoholic who must first "hit bottom" before recovery can truly begin. Maybe it would be better for the state to "hit bottom" sooner rather than later. The toilet swirl under Arnold is excruciatingly slow, but make no mistake - - the direction is exactly the same. Down the toilet.
