Great news. What a wonderful day it will be for the Iraqi people when they can live in peace and freedom.

Two articles, back-to-back on the latest post page:

al-Qaida in Iraq severely disrupted, General says

Ramadi has tipped to Iraqi government, coalition

Neither will appear in the MSM and one would have to go to a site like Free Republic to find them.

A plague on the media's house...

“I think al Qaeda has been pushed up against the ropes by this, and now they're finding themselves trapped between the coalition and (Iraqi security forces) on the one side and the people on the other,” the colonel said. “Now it's the al Qaeda forces that need to be worried about living in those neighborhoods. They stick out like a sore thumb. Everybody knows who the terrorists are.”

I'm sure all of the material in this article is mentioned in that new Woodward book. /sarc

Yes this is great news. Ramadi was among the worst of the cities according to military accounts. This could be the turning point on the whole war in Iraq. Not good news for the dimocRATS and the MSM.

Exactly. These two articles back to back are just what the doctor ordered.

Thank you!

I'd like to frame them in gold and send them to Ms. Couric.

She'd have get off the Cool-Aide first just to be sober enough to read them.

This must all be a lie, I just heard a news report that Bob Woodward says things are much worse in Iraq and a NBC reporter in Baghdad is promoting his book. Obviously Woodward knows much more about Iraq than the US military.

Excellent news, looks like the killing of al Qaeda terrorists are resulting in fewer rather than more of them.

Murtha, Pelosi and Reid take heed.

I've been totally out of touch caring for my mother here in Texas.

Hi there!

I wanted to get in touch with you today... my 6-year-old received a fantastic 3-page(!) letter from an Army Sgt. in Ramadi yesterday, and is quite busy working on his reply. Thank you!!

It is such a joy to be able to have even a little contact with those who sacrifice so much for these bits of good news we are able to receive.

Victory to our fighting men and women. Defeat to the enemy -- foreign and domestic.
