Thanks for a real name. It might be wise to go with a woman considering what Foley did may sway a woman from casting that vote under the Foley name.

Hello and welcome to my Web site. In 1990, I was elected to serve on the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, District 4. Currently, I am serving my fifth and final term for which I was recently reelected without opposition. My career in politics started in 1974 as an intern to U.S. House Majority Leader Thomas "Tip" O'Neil, and from 1987 - 1990, I was a City Commissioner and Vice Mayor in Delray Beach. I have been a resident of Palm Beach County for over 37 years and live in Delray Beach with my husband, Kevin McCarty.

Also a factor is the fact that McCarty already represents a significant portion of Foley's constituants on the County Commission, so that many of the voters have already voted for her before.
