Sorry, but it ain't gonna be that easy to brush aside the question, "What did they know, and when did they know it?" Already there are conflicts in the public pronouncements about Leadership's reaction to Foley's "transgressions." Yes, the whole truth must and will be ascertained about other email communications (besides the one instance referenced in the press release) and there is probably more to be revealed as to Foley's "activity."
I do hope there is no complicity to cover this up on the part of Leadership, but just as in the Church scandals often the first reports are not the most complete. We will see in the coming days/weeks if there is more evidence about Foley and what he has done besides a few dozen scandalous emails.
