Did you read some of the other emails? Sorry, if a man was e-mailing my son and asking him "Do I make you horny?" and talking about giving massages after lacrosse practice and talking about what my sons legs looked like during conditioning. And asking him what he was wearing at the moment and saying he should strip is repulsive. I also have to question what in the heck was going through these boys minds to engage in the conversations.
We need to be VERY CAREFUL in making a distinction between e-mail and Instant Messages.
The e-mail (or some e-mail or parts of the e-mails) is what the other Republicans knew about.
The IM's, as far as we know now, were kept from everyone.
Curiosity, perhaps confusion, who knows what they were thinking. The question is not the victims' state of mind but what is going on with the perpetrator, as in Mr. Foley -- a member of the GOP House of Representatives Leadership and someone who supposedly knows better and who should be able to differentiate between right and wrong. If Foley doesn't know these things then the other House leadership, Hastert and House Whip Roy Blunt included, sure as hell should.
I'll say it again, but there needs to be an investigation to see what Foley did with these boys, not just what he wrote to them in emails. If he did criminal acts with them, there will be Hell to Pay, politically, morally, and through the justice system. If it isn't covered up further than it already has been...
I'll tell you what's going through their minds... FAP FAP FAP FAP
