The House Leadership gets a hold of Foley emailing 16 year old male pages, in creepy conversations. They sit on it for a year. You equate this to Osama's mother psychically knowing to abort her son because 45 years later she would know he would be a terrorist.

And, as I said, the history is that exploited children become exploiters themselves-- so even if there were not any more pages exploited the ones who had been will likely exploit other children.

Thus far, the only thing some of the House leadership knew about was the e-mails to and from Representative Alexander's former page. Those e-mails were creepy, but not in and of themselves sexually explicit. The relevant people confronted Foley and told him to knock off the nonsense. He said he would.
