What's your beef, I asked a simple question about the kid. Okay, so he knew the kid, you're being very short on specifics, though. My beefis also with a kid who would respond to all these very personal questions rather than tell the guy he'd rather not go there and that he was being too personal. The kid may be gay. He may have wanted the attention. He may have been setting a trap. NONE of that matters a whit.

16 year olds get themselves into all sorts of stupid, dangerous or bad situations. Adults are supposed to, at least, refrain from helping them along.

I am "short" because not only has this representative been shown to be a hypocrite, there is also the hypocrisy shown by attempts to rationalize his actions. I am a strong "social conservative" BUT I also would never sponsor bills that ban beer because I drink it myself. Foley has sponsored bills against the very behavior he is now engaged in. It is not past behavior it is current.
