Sliming Allen now does not help your pet candidate win in 2008

I have no "pet candidate" for 2008. I can observe the actions of Allen and recognize bad judgment. I have watched him from afar and have been mildly interested since hearing good things from Freepers. I will not support a candidate who demonstrates a lack of commitment to his/her values whether a conservative or flaming radical liberal. To me it is a lack of moral courage.

Do you honestly, and I mean HONESTLY, believe that there is any way that he could have approached this hatchet job over a word too obscure to be known by more than a handful of people, that would have stopped this smear campaign?
