Allen has caught every fair or unfair ball of mud BOTH Democrats and Republicans have thrown at him, and will still win the election. McCain is dead on the vine, Frist who?, Gingrich is past prime time, and Giulani has divorce/abortion/immigration baggage. The way I see it, only Romney and Allen are in position to carry Conservatives, and Romney has questions, so those who write off Allen this soon need to consider we are still a year away from a full bore race.

He supports National Gun Registration PLUS taking some kind of national test to won a firearm.

And there is still a lot of time between now and 2008 for another front-runner to emerge.
