Actually, I imagine most gay people just want to be left alone to go about the lives. They don't need to be "celebrated" for their "diversity" any more than the rest of us.

Wouldn't it be nice if businesses stuck to doing BUSINESS and left politics out of it? I don't really care that Home Depot doesn't carry old growth lumber. I don't care if my kid's college sweatshirt is made in a factory where they pay $2 a day. I don't care who "celebrates diversity".

If I owned a business, there would be no "diversity", no "heritage" months, no "awareness" campaigns. Just provide goods and services economically and fairly and keep the politics out of it.

I've owned a couple of businesses. The only diverity I cared about was getting a lot of diverse people to give me money for goods or services. I never did inquire into anyone's race, religion, family type, or sexual habits. My momma taught me when I was just a wee lad that such personal questions are rude.

But, that's just me.
