A lot of them do, but they are active duty and not supposed to dabble in politics (I believe).

Active-duty military members are proscribed from discussing politics publicly. Retirees are not, and many of us do speak out. Of course, high-ranking officers who support the president don't get the press that's given to those who criticize him.

Those who are out of duty or have left the service are free to be political. Most of those speaking against the President are "Cold War" do nothing paper warriors.
