Good. Now there won't be any appeals.

I grew up in Polk County, I knew a lot of the Deputy force there. It is locally known that if you kill a cop in Polk County, there are only two ways out for you. Surrender to the federal authorities... or a body bag.
Body bag being the preferred choice.

There is an old saying in TX, "When tried before Judge Colt and his jury of 6 there is no appeal."

Makes one wonder what a disarmed gunman would look like, eh?

Geeeeez, do you think?????
Of course he was illegal! He shot two cops and a K9. /sarc
Seriously, the supposition is that he was an illegal alien drug runner, in addition to being an OUTLAW.

Good point. I meant illegal alien status. I heard rumors yesterday he might be.
To: stm
Great job!! Now we don't have to worry about supporting the mutt for the rest of his life and listen to how he deprived he was.
To: stainlessbanner
They haven't yet identified him. The circumstantial evidence points that way; rental car, armed, suspected drug runner.
