I rather doubt Eliott Spitzer will prosecute this matter in any meaningful way.
To: lowbridge
It's called EMBEZZLMENT. Who's going to jail over this?

So, Al Franken's and Randi Rhode's salaries were taking money from children, the sick, and the elderly?
Sounds about right. Liberals CAN'T do anything wrong because they want to know the difference between right and wrong.

Who's going to jail over this? Certainly not a bunch of Democrats. I mean, laws do not apply to them.
Maybe they can frog march some innocent Republican into jail for it.

Finally! There should be a healthy amount of interest involved too. Also, will this money go back to the people who originally ponied it up - the taxpayers - or will the gubermint treat it like a windfall and spend it? Silly question!

"the charity misused from 2001 to 2004 and $375,000 in overpayments from the Department of Education to a nursery and kindergarten run by the charity from 1997 to 2006."
This is a Federal offense.

The NYTimes just couldn't bring themselves to put Air America in their headline, could they.
I'm surprised they even ran an article.
To: lowbridge
Amazing how embezzlement isn't a crime when liberals are doing it. Now NYC liberals are funneling money through charities to keep their demented ideology out there. Pathetic!

I think everyone will be missing the Leftist point here. These people will get off scot free because if the government took care of the elderly and the children like they were supposed to, then Co-op City, formerly known as the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club, wouldn't have to donate to Air America and remind all of us that are to stupid to realize the fact that these elderly and children need our help due to the VRWC and all that they stand for.
