Yeah, but he's in the Nomenklatura so it's moot.

“Should I live in a cabin in Montana?”

We don't want you here. We've got enough freaks from the west coast colonizing us.

Rich people love Communism because to them, Communism only affects the peons and not them. It's a way of keeping potential competition down.

"You've been hanging out.....with an enemy of the state"

The last time I looked, Chomsky's work was distributed by Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label.

You'd figure that an anticapitalist like Jello Biafra would believe in "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

"Do as I say, not as I do."

What a suprise. Old Noam likes money and hates taxes!

OK, now I've seen everything.

Noam Chomsky, Closet Capitalist

Leftists are the most ruthless capitalists. That is, the refuse to play by the rules.

Then they write books about "the failures of the market" and "the evils of capitalism."

Like Mikey Moore and his Haliburton stock--"Ignore that man behind the curtain!"

“Should I live in a cabin in Montana?”

I'd suggest a mud hut in North Korea would be more apt for his ideology.

Have you read 'Do As I Say, Not As I Do', by Peter Schweizer yet?

I would HIGHLY recommend it. It details the financial activities of Noam, Michael Moore (Halliburton shareholder), Teddy, Hillary, Al Franken, Nader, etc.

About 20-30 pages on each, it is a GREAT read!

You must not know the Golden Rule. He who has the gold rules, and he who rules gets the gold.

It's why the rich run for office (Bush). It's the poor who make it to office become rich (Clinton). Government is for the crooks.

when I went to teaching school, he was held up as a "hero", I find him to be a typical liberal type, "let them it cake", and they know what to do best with your money, but has anyone seen babs leave her malibu mansion and go live in the middle class burbs? same with sean spiccoli pen.

All of the research that Chomsky did as an assistant professor at MIT - the work that made his reputation - was funded by grants from US Air Force.

As soon as the armed forces had finished paying for him to become a full professor and he had no further use for them, he published his first anti-American Communist book, a trashing of the war in Vietnam.

Of course, he had no problem taking money from the service that was bombing North Vietnam.
