Any time Irey's people want to give us some poll numbers, I'm all ears.

If she wants to ask for money from the GOP, she's going to need to show them she has a shot.

We all want Murtha out of there - but it makes no sense to throw bad money after good trying to defeat him and lose both that contest and another one elsewhere because of lack of funds.

The number one objective this fall is retaining the House - unseating Murtha is a secondary goal.

Then I suggest you contact the elite shakers of the GOP in PA and tell them not to donate to Murtha and other DEM candidates.

The PA state GOP leaders have their heads in their asses.

Murtha is a Dim lightning rod; and because they have not worked hard to help the GOP candidate trying to defeat him, Murtha is a net fund raiser for other PA Dim candidates, because the GOP is letting him look like a winner.

Submerging Murtha would submerge some of the Dim base, in the knowledge that Murtha was going to lose.

Sounds to me like PA is filled with a bunch of Pataki-style GOP leaders; out for themselves while the party whithers.
