How about working to make it illegal?

I bet the strongest stance you will see out of the Repub nominee no matter who he is ..

Will be the W position of appointing strict consistutionalist judges...meaning toss it back to the states.....and working to change hearts and minds.

Not one will say he will work to make it illegal across the board. Not only is that a politically unpopular position it's not politically possible.

I disagree. Public opinion has shifted dramatically against most legal abortion over the last decade. Having the GOP nominate a pro-choice candidate would not be helpful in that trend.

I agree abortion should be a state issue. But ever since the usurpation in Roe v. Wade, it is not. So the president has a role to play regarding signing or vetoing abortion-related legislation as long as Roe v. Wade stands.
