Gil Gutknecht, Minnesota's GOP rep for the 1st District is one of those too.

In the state house of reps, he was very conservative. He was elected in the GOP landslide of '94. In his first several terms in Congress, he voted very conservatively.

As time as gone by, he has grown less conservative. But he's still light years better than any Dem in that district.

I think Reichert will beat the confused Mrs. Burner by 10 points minimum. Survey USA has Cantwell at 54%, that's too high also.
