I guess I thought it was one side of the state threatening to shut it down.

I mean, think about it -- when is the state not the "voice of the arts" in the US? That was sort of my point -- the state will back the arts in genuine sacrilege all day long (that is, until Rudy said, "not in my city." Guess that was my immediate take on it.

I would have thought the state would be all over "not offending" our terrorist friends.
