Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens tried to kill himself ---
No he didn't. If he would have really tried it would have worked.
Trust me, I know a lot about suicide.

I don't follow football so I don't know T O from Adam, but, if he's desperate enough to try and off himself, or give the appearance of it, he needs help.

When I was first given pain med, years ago, couldn't tell time of day or how much time had passed. If a friend had not accidentally been with me, may have OD. Knew I was in pain and knew the tablets were for pain. Was ready to take the second within minutes of the first, but the friend intervened....... would have been a good time for a watch on your wrist.

I think of 'roid rage' as an example. The cocktail of hormones, creatine, excessive protein, etc., has to have some effect on brain chemistry. Throw in heavy duty pain meds and I am surprised we don't hear of more troubles like among pro athletes.

Would have loved to have seen him go four quarters with Ronnie Lott. There may not have been a need for any suicide attempts.

A watch on the wrist did not help. Was in the winter...around 6:00.... dark in both morning and evening.Had dozed for just a couple of minute and thought I'd slept all night and it was time to take another dose.
IMO Problem was the Dr sent me home from the hospital without finding out how I reacted to pain medicine. The next time they kept me in, gave a different type of medicine and the same friend, a nurse, stayed with me. If she hadn't would probably have died. My BP dropped and I was out for three days. My son also reacts/has problems with pain meds.....Some people just do or so we've been told.

I know what you mean.
Not too long ago I was on the phone with a friend who had been working long hours.
Next thing all I hear is breathing on the other end. Couldn't get any responce and then heard a phone hit the floor. Hung up and called back to a busy signal. Called 911.
Awhile later I got a phone call. Man did I evr get chewed out. I was glad for it though.
Good thing I'm not famous...

My thoughts exactly. TO is a big pussy, pppPardon my french ladies.I'm at a loss for words.
Real men use guns and are successful 80% of the time. A large number are critically wounded as well.
Is TO queer, or does he claim to have heterosexual credit?
