Thanks Dick. Run the conservative Christians off, and the Republican Party will go into eclipse for a generation. Moron. Thanks Dr. Dobson. Run the mind-your-own-business conservatives off and the Republican Party will go into eclipse for a generation. Moron.

When you libertines can prove you can actually impact an election, you'll get my notice.

Thanks Dr. Dobson. Run the mind-your-own-business conservatives off and the Republican Party will go into eclipse for a generation. Moron. Christians are very "mind your own business" until you start killing helpless people. Incidently, Dobson is running people off because he votes what he feels is right. Armey is running people off because he is calling people names and making unsubstantiated accusations. There is a difference.

Armey has been going around the country touting the merits of tax reform and fiscal restraint. He is a solid conservative, a Christian and a good guy to boot. But he should leave his disagreements with Dobson out of the limelight.
I love Dr. Dobson, but I feel that his ministry becomes less effective the more he seeks to manipulate the GOP. I was appalled at the treatment of Terri Schiavo, but the reaction of the party to Dobson's demands for Congressional action was fairly ineffective and fairly transparent.
Seems to me that both could tone the rhetoric down a notch a bunch.
