Some of them are politically ignorant, yes - kindly do not quote me out of context, thank you. I live in California where Tom McClintock would be a great governor were it not for the myopic pro-life contingent that demands that abortion be the #1 plank of any political candidate's platform. The result is that we almost never get a pro-life candidate elected to office. If they'd shut their yaps and just let a decent man get elected and THEN carry out a pro-life agenda we might actually get somewhere in this state. But in a state where being called "pro-life" is an epithet these morons are Planned Parenthoods most effective political campaigners. You may not like that, but that's what's called "reality". We need to win some elections before we stand on principle - as Willie Brown once said, "Losers don't write legislation." And he was talking about US.
