"So you won't vote for Romney because he is a returned missionary? Wow, I hope you hold all Christian missionaries in the same light...la"

Generally speaking yes. I wouldn't vote for a Jehovah's Witness either. I might think differently of a missionary who was in some third world country bringing food and medicine, but not one who goes door-to-door trying to convert people.

Geez, then I guess I shouldn't have voted for President Bush since he is an evangelist. I have had them put fliers on my car for one of their big revivals. Can't vote for a lutheran because they will ask guest at their church to be saved. Give me a break, being a missionary is a very nobel thing for a young man or woman to do. If you are so ignorant not to know that, maybe you should have your voters card away...la

not one who goes door-to-door trying to convert people.

So I guess when Jesus commanded his apostles to go two by two and preach his gospel he was doing so to deliberately annoy people?

Perhaps Christ just recognized that there were some who would accept his message and atonement and appreciate it for what it is.

If you can't see that it's your shortsightedness, not his lack of caring for your immortal soul.
