I don't have time to dig out my Korans and find the verses, nor do any Internet searches.

I also don't have the time to debate with you any more. So here's my position, and what your is (according to your own statements):

Yours: Islam is not inherently violent, and is entirely equivalent with other religions (notable Christianity and Judaism). According to you, they are all three equally violent, both scripturally and historically. No difference whatsoever.

Me: Islam has been violent (both in military aggression in the name of religion, and via forced conversions) since the time of Mohammed, throughout history, and currently. No change. Virtually all Muslims throughout the world are descendants of those who were forced into Islam via the sword, social pressure, high "dhimmi" taxes, or a combination of the three. Conquering the world via military might in the name of Islam has been the plan and the method since the beginning.

This is not equivalent to either the teachings or the history of Christianity or Judaism. There are certainly blemishes galore in every religion in practice, but Islam takes the cake regarding (a) forced conversions, (b) complete and vicious intolerance towards any other religion, and (c) violence and aggression in the name of religion.

This sounds like a dodge.

That's a misprepresent-and-run. My position is that Islam is not inherently violent. Islam and many other religions have violent scriptual passages and violent histories.

That's a tough claim to prove. Suffice it to say, there isn't any religion in the world that can claim a billion followers without a long history of coercion.
