I do not believe that many of the posters here would be capable of the slaughter they speak of. I think they are venting.

And I think you're wrong. There are no monsters in the world, only normal people who do monsterous things. It only takes two things to turn an otherwise normal person into a killing machine. You need to convince them that the cause is just, and place them with others who will be doing the same thing. Righteous anger and the human pack mentality will do the rest.

FWIW, I would have no problem opening fire on someone trying to burn my home in a riot, attack my daughters, or overthrow my government and replace it with a muslim theocracy.

Well I read exnavy's comments with some amusement. Apparently only ex military people have the ability to defend themselves whatever acts are necessary. In the case of islam it increasingly appears that the act of self defense would include some serious slaughter. I don't think 'normal' people need conviction, righteous anger, or a pack mentality. I just think they need to feel threatened enough to need to do whatever is necessary to survive. Some of them have the proper implements, experience and motivation to act out in this manner. They would be righteous actors IMHO. BTW I have 3 daughters also and let some Hajji try shit on them.

I would have no problem DEFENDING my home and family, or my country as well. The tone of conversation has been to slaughter "all moslims everywhere", that is to say, every man, woman, and child. That is a step farther than you indicated, and, most would, including you, have a major problem with the children part.
