He was allegedly taking pain medication for his surgery and had a reaction and the speculation runs from closet homosexual, illegal drugs, and suicide attempt.
Yup - these kind of instant-response threads sometimes make FR look and smell like DU...

Well I like the commercials. I also like knowing my husband isn't budging from his recliner and that it is a perfect opportunity to talk.

Upon looking at the ESPN.com article regarding Owens, I found this nugget relating to Terry Glenn's injury. Gotta love Parcells way with words:
On Tuesday, the Cowboys also practiced without tight end Jason Witten, whose wife was having a baby. Wide receiver Terry Glenn practiced, albeit with several stitches in his thumb.
"He was trying to cut some tape off his uniform," Parcells said. "He had his hand down in his pants and he missed. Fortunately he cut his hand."

FReepmail scott says to be added to, or to be taken off the NFL Ping list...
This is a fairly high volume ping list
I shouldn't ping this thread. Some of the responses are absolutely embarrassing and shameful. But since a dupe thread will be pulled, I'll go with what I have. From everything I can find out, he had a reaction to the pain medications they had him on. It happens all the time. I'm allergic to Vicodin, for example. Some of the comments on this thread are absolutely shameful. Rant off.

I often wonder if we are better served by the wealth of instant information that exists today than our parents were by the deliberate examination of things after the dust settled.
Think about it for a second... how often have you found yourself deciding an issue before all the facts were in? We are all guilty of it. It seems like we are conditioned to this type of decision making by the constant breaking news format and furious speculation we witness every night on the news.

Yeah, I agree. I can't believe the wild accusations here. TO has been a rabble rouser on his teams, but he's always been someone who takes care of his body and works very hard. I always supported him over Donovan McNabb, who was a big whiner who jumped on the anti-Rush racist bandwagon with the ESPN TV crew.

There has never been any indication in Terrell Owens career that he used drugs.
