Too bad they didn't assess the damage done to American interests by the democrat party and their cohorts in the America hating media. But I guess that would have been too much to ask!
I agree. The assessment could have been a little more pointed as to why the jihadists are "adapting to counterterrorism efforts." - see my suggested edit below.
We also assess that the global jihadist movement—which includes al- Qa’ida, affiliated and independent terrorist groups, and emerging networks and cells—is spreading and adapting to counterterrorism efforts because the NY Times publishes articles that tell the jihadists how our counterterrorism programs work.
