And what they are also doing is establishing precedent for if and when Fair Tax comes to pass: by saying they can tax private transactions, they can tax anything twice. Where do you get that crazy idea? The whole point of the FairTax is to ensure that everything is taxed only once.

Where do you get that crazy idea? The whole point of the FairTax is to ensure that everything is taxed only once. So the resale of a home won't be subject to the "FairTax", or does "taxed once" really mean "taxed once per transaction"?
