He's an enigma - very devout Catholic...but he hates the current Pope, supports abortion, Gay marriage, euthanasia, etc. His argument I believe would be the Gov't should stay out of those issues. Maybe he's more libertarian than liberal but then he never saw a tax increase he didn't like and cowers before global warming too.
