That 'esteemed political commentator', Larry Sabato, is even jumping on the bandwagon. The MSM cites him as a classmate of Allen at the University of Virginia. He even admits that he has NEVER heard Allen use the "N" word, yet he says he cannot believe that Allen has never used it--and the media still cites him as corroboration for the politically motivated racial hucksterism being tossed around like another Clintonesque cow chip. For a supposedly enlightened member of the academic elite, Sabato isn't doing much to enhance his credibility.
I was really shocked by Sabato - he has some balls! I hope Allen is able to turn this around - Sabato has been completely unprofessional. This will be on the front page of the WashPost for 6 days like the Macaca story.
It's more than that. This is not the VA Dems that are doing this, it's the national Dems. This has the hit-and-run character of the Clintonoids. They have no fear of backlash and they'll spread as much dirt as they can, through as many operatives as they can find and they don't care about the fallout.
These operatives get the benefit of being on TV, thinking they are smart and can survive a media blitz. Most can't.
