“I won’t start World War III for you, sir,” snorted the tough British commander. When word of Clark’s instability reached Washington, even Secretary of Defense Bill Cohen, managed to have the “moxie” to call Clark home early and “retire” him from the Army.

And we should listen to Clark now because...............LOL

Location: Paragraph #603 (on page 125)
Frustrated by the Taliban’s resistance, two senior State Department officials suggested asking the Saudis to offer the Taliban $250 million for Bin
Ladin. Clarke opposed having the United States facilitate a “huge grant to a regime as heinous as the Taliban” and suggested that the idea might not
seem attractive to either Secretary Albright or First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton—both critics of the Taliban’s record on women’s rights.86 The
proposal seems to have quietly died.

What a joke old Weasel Clark is, I don't know how he has the nerve to criticize anyone. He doesn't even attempt to address an issue from his years of experience as a military man, just from a partisan political view. He has forgotten the oath he swore to.

Wasn't Clark in charge of the tanks that caused the fires that killed those innocent children at Waco? This guy is dangerous.

That actually wasn't the original joke, but I changed it to be extra sensitive and also to laud our latest ex-President's outrage this past weekend.

The old Clinton spin machine doing a return engagement after boy Clinton created a mess of himself yesterday with Chris Wallace. I fully expect to hear from Begalia and Carvell before the day is out. Can Lanny Davis be far behind?

For context, the headline should start--Unsuccessful Democratic Party candidate for President and a former Nato commander who ordered an attack on Russian troops.....

"Former NATO Commander Clark"

Dontchya love the headlines? failing to mention he was former democrat candidate for Presidential nomination and he campaigned for Kerry. Not to mention his career ascendency was under Bubba.

Im sure anything he says will be unbiased and accurate though of course.

"For eight months, Bush did nothing - nothing. No plan. No action. No diplomacy. No intelligence. No meetings," said Clark, who is scheduled to make campaign stops Monday in Campbellsville, Hopkinsville, Paducah, Owensboro and Brandenburg.

The Pampered Prince securing his place should Hillary run for POTUS. The Little Lord Fauntleroy of the Democrats is shameless - the trail behind him is littered with bodies as he climbs to his moment of fame...........Fox should drop him as ‘military annalist’…his delusions of Grandeur are equal to Bill Clintons.

President Bush was nearly de-railed getting his administration going because of Algore's claim to the presidency. George Bush is decisive, honest, focused, and doing a Great Job - something this little pipsqueak has little knowledge of.

Good form General... while you're at it, how about renouncing your American citizenship. What a lousy, stinkin' POS.

That should be "Wesley Clark, former CNN sidekick" LOL!

It's just shameful that Aaron Brown didn't give Wesley Clark the sidekick
position on his CNN show. He worked so hard for it durinf the Iraq invasion.
No one could possibly suck up like Wesley has proven he will- to anybody, but especially to his Aaron.

Oh, that's right, Aaron's show was canceled. Well, CNN knows where to look
for a cheap sidekick for a nighttime show.

I didn't know about his 'Advocate' work, myself. So this thread has proven educational, if not edifying. I wonder if he was applying gay theory to NATO command?

Uh, no. It was ATF and FBI at Waco. Nothing to do with NATO.

Clark is a perfect hypocrite in the Democrat mold. As he so often chastizes Bush for his unilateral approach to foreign policy, it was Clark himself who spoke about the difficulties in dealing with NATO and especially the French, when it came to the Balkan conflict. Not only did he voice his displeasure in dealing with "coalitions" that were useless, he exercised an authority that was very much unilateral in its approach.

As he appears on TV blasting our current military...even accusing them of Geneva Accord violations, he ignores that he, himself, has been named a defendant by Euro-lawyers who've indicted him for war-crimes in the 78-day aerial bombardment of Serbia/Kosovo. Contrary to the great lengths Bush and the military have gone to avoid civilian casualties in Iraq, Clinton and Clark's policy against Serbia was a direct violation of Geneva as civilian infrastructure was deliberately targeted--including SerbTV, power grids and commuter rails and trains. This guy's a nut.

Maybe if Algore hadn't taken the 2000 elections up to the Supreme Court, the White House hadn't been trashed, China hadn't crashed a fighter into our spyplane and held it/crew for days, and Gary Condit didn't have a fling with an intern (familiar pattern), the country might have been more focused on OBL.

Clinton slow-walked the transition. Then the 'Rats deliberately stalled the approval of Pres. Bush's nominees (with the Senate committees split almost evenly between the parties after the 50-50 result from 2000). Finally the approval process ground nearly to a halt after Jeffords turned coat and Dashle became Senate Majority leader. The 'Rats and their Euroscum allies (think of the Kyoto "outrage" here) were seeking to cripple the President for two years, make gains in Congress in 2002, and then "re-elect" AlBorg2000 in 2004. Unfortunately for them, the beheaders had other plans.

Joe Reed also says President Bush was derelict in his duties.

Who is Joe you ask?

The bum who lives under the bridge in Miami and probably more respectable then Weasel Clark
