If you've already spent your Republican dollars on anything written by these 'former' goodfellows, forgive yourself and move on. Just make a promise that you'll never let it happen again. Please, let's all stay vigilant and alert to these celebrities that get such a kick out of funneling our money to the Dem cause.

What? The guy who wrote
Runaway Jury isn't a Republican?
Oh well, I guess the GOP is unable to boast the worst writer in American history as a member.

If you enjoy their works, might I recommend buying them at yard sales and from internet auction sites. This way you don't funnel any new dollars into their accounts.
Or if you want to get rid of what you own, sell them the same way. Again if someone wants the item they will buy it from you, and no additional $$ goes to the author.

I'm having a hard time believing that King was ever a Republican.

I'm having a hard time believing that King was ever a Republican. Income tax make Republicans of many.

I was going to say. He's always made a big deal about being an old-time Maine Dem in any interview I've ever seen/read.

that's because as the years have gone by and their success has increased, they have reached the liberal elites tax bracket level. (those summer parties in the hamptons and nantucket will brain wash you, as good as anything.)

As someone who has spent time in the military I am perfectly aware that the services are full of screwups and goofballs. Officer nitwits. NCO animals. Sainthood is not guaranteed the General or the PFC. And because one hasn't served does not preclude that person's freedom to criticize the military. For those who recall, Webb was a screw up inside and outside the military. And, he was rarely a team player. His shortcoming probably result from having his brains rattled in a classic boxing match with Ollie North.

I haven't read the posts, haven't even read the entire article. I got as far as the put down of the phony Texan, President Bush. They've got a lot of nerve and a weak base of thought in mentioning that, when those guys are sitting there on stage with phony combat boots!!
