Well, my perspective is that I had to earn my license, and these pirates should too. Hey, as long as they stay under 1 watt output into a quarter-wave antenna, they're fine. ;-)

I know. There's two schools of thought. One is that a licensee has earned something (which he has). The other is that people shouldn't need a license. It applies to lots of stuff, not just radio, ham or otherwise. But you know all this :)
