Back in 1992 I never in my wildest dreams thought Clinton was going to win. I was a bit younger and certainly a lot more naive. I really thought the American people would never elect someone like this guy.
Bill's a squirmin worm
Too many Perot voters.
It was all due to Perot. There was a reality to Reagan administration fatigue, which I think people who didn't vote for GHWB had rather than not liking him. And I will always swear that Perot and Clinton were in kahoots. If it weren't for Perot, GHWB had a magnificent chance to pull that election out. It would have been very close but he had a great chance. I don't think it was Clinton's idea, I think it was Perot's.
Thank Ross Perot for helping to get Slick Willie elected.
If it makes you feel any better about the American people, remember that Perot got 19% (as I recall) of the vote. IMHO most of that would have gone to Bush.
The American people didn't. Most voters DID vote for someone other than Clinton. But with the vote split three ways, Clinton won with a plurality.
Me too. I grew up with family that served in WWII and never thought a out and out draft dodger would have a chance.
Kinda forgot about the moonbats from the late 60's. Jeesh...
