Does anyone see the danger to those radio stations that don't take the ad? Most of the majors in Columbus turned it down. You know people will be tuned in to hear it on the stations that will carry it. I noted that to prevent that they only listed the stations that were not going to carry the ads.

This thing should be a huge hit. And car dealers have associations that talk advertising campaigns over. If this really works then it will not be long before car dealers will all be running these ads.

The stations that turn these ads down will be in a world of hurt. Car advertising is about 20 percent of a radio station's gross. If car dealers figure they don't need the top rated stations they won't use them.

Well, that depends. I believe the Clear Channel stations haven't said no. As for those not running the ad, Radio One is minority owned and listened to, and Sunny 95 targets women from 25-54 (not usually a conservative bunch here in Central Ohio.)

But, the two big Rock stations in town (WLVQ and WBZX) are pretty much guaranteed to run the ad, and I would suspect WTVN, the big AM news-talk station will run it as well.
