This week at the United Nations, President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela announced to the world body :

"Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, from this rostrum, the president of the United States, the gentleman to whom I refer as the devil, came here, talking as if he owned the world. Truly. As the owner of the world.

Of course, there were no "millions of people" in Palestine in 1948. In fact, the portion of the Palestinian Mandate that became the State of Israel actually had a Jewish majority of 55% with only 405,000 Arabs and 498,000 Jews in 1948. This time Muslims are DEMANDING that a much smaller minority than existed in the Palestinian Mandate be given 15% of the land mass of the nation and it appears that may be given that land by the UN.

so how soon can we expect their decision?

aside: several former secretaries-general (notice, they're "secretaries" first, "generals" second, but that's neither here nor there ;) -- don't correct me, please, that litte semi-colon and close-parens means it's sarcasm) have written in their memoirs that there is a "spirit" at the UN and that it is a sort of "religious" organization.

Can't wait until the "separation of church and state" folks are confronted with that.

The UN is funded by the United States. Without America, this rats nest would cease in short time. It is manipulated by the Arabs who have a disproportionate share of wealth earned from oil to buy privileges. They get their way with the UN by buying off the likes of communists to form a alliance within the UN.

If everyone in the UN were hanged, only a few good people would die.
